Introduction

Welcome to Bennett & Sterling. 

These Booking Terms & Conditions explain how our services work and set out the responsibilities of both Bennett & Sterling and our clients. By engaging our services or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

Bennett & Sterling provides bespoke travel planning, travel advisory and booking services, including accommodation, flights, cruises, rail journeys, transfers, activities, travel insurance arrangements, visa guidance and concierge services.

Unless otherwise stated, Bennett & Sterling acts as an intermediary between travellers and independent travel suppliers.

2. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotations are subject to availability.

• Prices are not guaranteed until confirmed by payment.

• Supplier pricing may change before confirmation.

• Quotations are generally valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated.

3. Planning Fees

Where applicable, a Professional Planning Fee (Travel Design Fee) is payable before itinerary planning begins.

Planning fees compensate Bennett & Sterling for professional travel planning and advisory services and are generally non-refundable.

Any applicable credits against hotel bookings will be explained in our Client Service Guide or quotation.

4. Deposits & Payments

Deposits and final payment dates are determined by individual travel suppliers.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

5. Changes & Cancellations

Changes or cancellations requested after confirmation may incur:

• Bennett & Sterling service fees

• Supplier amendment fees

• Supplier cancellation penalties

Refunds are subject to the terms of the relevant supplier.

6. Travel Documentation

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid:

• Passports

• Visas

• Health documentation

• Vaccination certificates (where required)

Bennett & Sterling cannot be held responsible for travel disruptions resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all travellers.

Travel insurance should be arranged before departure and include appropriate medical, cancellation and personal liability cover.

8. Supplier Responsibility

Hotels, airlines, cruise operators, transport providers and other travel suppliers operate independently.

Their individual booking conditions, cancellation policies and liability limitations apply to your booking.

9. Force Majeure

Bennett & Sterling is not responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, industrial action or other unforeseen circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

Bennett & Sterling acts as a travel advisor and booking agent for independent suppliers.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for acts, omissions or failures of those suppliers.

11. Privacy

We collect personal information only to arrange and manage your travel.

Your information is shared only with relevant suppliers where necessary to fulfil your booking and is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

12. Governing Law

Your booking will be governed by the laws applicable to the Bennett & Sterling entity identified on your booking confirmation or invoice.
